NORDITA ACCOUNT

Your "Nordita account" isn't really a proper account , at least not in the sense of having an independent mailbox (for "Nordita" home directories, see below), but can be seen instead as a set of convenient aliases and other local setups. It includes:

  • ability for you to use mail addresses in the form   <username>@nordita.org   or   <firstname>.<lastname>@nordita.org
  • access to login-restricted local web based services, such as the Nordita preprint database, and the Nordita staff travel schedule
  • access to local servers, useful it you need to make large computations

YOUR NORDITA ACCOUNT

Activating Your Nordita Account

You first have to activate your "real" KTH account.

Then, as soon as possible, take the paper with your KTH username and password to Iouri Belokopytov (office 133:010, phone extension 8429), and ask him to create a local Nordita account with the same username and password. He will also create the necessary mail aliases for your "nordita.org" mail addresses.
