Printers at Nordita

There are several printers at Nordita, in all Nordita buildings. There are two types of printer:

• FOR NORDITA STAFF: three printers connected to the Stockholm University Printomat service.
  You need a University card to access there printers, which in practice means that they are only accessible to Nordita staff members. The three printomat printers have a common print queue, and you log in to whichever of them that you want to print from. There are several other printomat printers at AlbaNova that you can use as well.

• FOR VISITORS: a number of local printers.
  Each printer has its own print queue. Some of them also have copying and scanning facilities, and all allow printing from a USB memory stick.

Help With Printing Documents

If you only have very few documents to print, it may be enough for you to put the files on a USB memory, and either ask Nordita staff to print it for you.

Supplies

• There is A4-sized paper in the cupboard under or next to the printer.
• Toner and ink is also close to the printers, but please don't change toner units yourself.

If the printers report "Ink is low", "Replace toner" or "Replace maintenance kit" or similar problems, if you can't find any paper, or have any other questions regarding printing, please contact someone in the Nordita administrative staff.
