Stockholm University has a print service called Printomat. You find printers connected to this service in most departments at Stockholm Univerity, like the physics and astronomy departments in the AlbaNova main building. Nordita also has three printomats, one in each Nordita building.

Printomat is a "follow-me-print" system. At your computer you print a document to the common Printomat queue. You then go to any of the printers connected to the Printomat system (at Nordita or anywhere else within AlbaNova or Stockholm University), log in and select which of the documents that you have submitted you want to be printed. The advantages of a follow-me-print system include less waste with printouts that are never picked up, and the convenience of choosing any printer in the system if the one nearest to you happens to be broken or out of supplies.

Requirements

• The computer you print from must be connected to the Stockholm University network. At Nordita this means that your computer needs to be connected either:
  • over a wired network connection; there are network cables at every office desk at Nordita,
    or
  • over a wireless network together with VPN

• You must have installed the Printomat driver on your computer, and have authenticated once with your Stockholm University username and password.

• You use your University Card to log in to a Printomat machine for printing, copying or scanning. If you don't have one or have lost it, you can order a new one at www.su.se/nyttkort.
